[News] Dreamscarred Press Announces First Adventure Path

Dreamscarred Press has announced From the Deep Adventure Path; their first adventure path set in their psionic world of the Third Dawn Campaign Setting.

Jeremy Smith of Dreamscarred Press announced this at ENWorld and said that the adventure path would be released in six parts, starting off with the first adventure Uncertain Futures in the Ophid Protectorates.

Using the Pathfinder RPG rules and also requires Dreamscarred's Psionic Unleashed, the adventure path will take characters from 1st to 18th level, as they fight against enemies that have found a way to disrupt the flow of psionic energy in the setting. The adventure path will take them to uncover secrets of the Orphid Protectorate and the Marquoran Fleet, whether underground, underwater or across continents.

The adventure path is written by Michael McCarthy, with Uncertain Future in the Ophid Protectorates beginning in the Protectorate City of Arbil. The first adventure will also include a write-up of the kobold race and rules for psionic duels.

According to Smith, a Player's Guide for the adventure path would be released as a free download later this month with the first adventure following shortly after.

Psionic Cavian

Creatures of myth, whispered in legend, lost in the mists of history – and now returned for reasons unknown to any but themselves.

Such are the cavians, a race of humanoid rodents noted for their incredible psionic abilities. All Cavians have innate mental abilities, most often displayed in their hive mind ability.

Some Cavians, however, have innate psionic ability above and beyond this mental connection. These Cavians are often more cerebral and logical, where their non-psionic brethren are more intuitive and instinctual in their abilities.

Although both psionic and non-psionic Cavians have similar abilities, the differences are enough that rivalries between the two breeds are not unknown.

LPJ Design has released Psionic Cavian, a supplement to play as the Psionic Cavian as a PC race in LPJ Design's NeoExodus: A House Divided setting for the Pathfinder RPG.

Inside the supplement, written by J Joshua Cole, JP Chapleau and Jeremy Smith with Louis Porter Jr., you will find details to play as a Psionic Cavian including personalities and relations.

Psionic Cavian also introduces the Psionic Cavian Paragon class and three new Alternate Racial Traits. It also comes with monsters counters, initiative and monster cards.

Psionic Cavian is sold at $1.99 and is exclusively available here.

Product: Enemies of NeoExodus: First Ones

Everything Here Is a Lie. Only fools trust anything the First Ones say, do or think. You have been warned.

The First Ones - the name strikes terror into the heart of the people of Exodus. They are the bogeymen, formed of living shadow, that stalk the people. They control monsters and abominations that are loose upon the world. They snatch children and lone travelers. They torture men for their own pleasure and cavort with fiends to do their dark bidding.

Those are but myths. The truth is far worse.

“The First Ones” is the name given to a group of humanoid creatures who ruled Exodus before the Age of Man. Today, the First Ones include five races: the Aneishi, the Exodites, the Khaynites, the Kroca and the Kobura.

In days past, each race served a specific purpose, but with the rise of the Kaga and the destruction of their empire, the First Ones remain roughly united by their desire to return to power and to once again relish in luxury while others toil for their pleasure and their comfort.

Enemies of NeoExodus: First Ones, released by LPJ Design, is a supplement in the LPJ Design line for the NeoExodus: A House Divided neo-fantasy punk setting.

The 49 page supplement, written by Joshua Cole with J.P. Chapleau, Benjamin Wenham and Louis Porter Jr. for Pathfinder, details the history of the First Ones and guides GMs on how to use them in the NeoExodus setting, along with famous First Ones to be used as NPCs.

Mechanics-wise, the supplement introduces 25 new feats, 2 new spells, eight new monsters and two creature types.

The supplement also comes with a combat & initiative tracker, character sheets and monster cards.

Enemies of NeoExodus: First Ones
is available at RPGNow.
