[News] Leverage Supplements Won't Make it for GenCon

Two supplements for Leverage: The Roleplaying Game from Margaret Weis Productions have been delayed from their initial release dates and will not be able to make it for GenCon.

Line Developer and Designer Cam Banks said, in reply to a thread at RPG.net, that Leverage: Grifters and Masterminds is currently in layout before final approval while Leverage: Hitters, Hackers and Thieves is in the final editing and development phase before it goes for layout.

He said in the thread:
Since GenCon is 3 weeks away and we'd need more time than that to get the books printed, I'm afraid they won't be available there. That said, PDF sales don't require the print time, so we're doing our best to ensure they're both available for your enjoyment this summer!
According to the Margaret Weis Productions website, Grifters and Masterminds was due to be released in May 2011 while Hitters, Hackers and Thieves was due in June 2011.

Both books are priced at $29.99.

Leverage: The Roleplaying Game is based on the TNT TV series where players play as members of a dysfunctional team of con artists, criminals and crooks to protect the victims of corporations, mobsters and corrupt politicians.

The game uses the Cortex system as its foundation.
