DungeonMorph Dice are not just your ordinary normal D6s, but are D6s with a in-built random dungeon layout generator that is carved on its facets. Each face has a 10x10 room design that are inter-connectible which helps you to create a complete dungeon layout with a roll of a die.
With its blue and white color scheme, the
DungeonMorph Dice is a reminisce of the classic dungeon geomorph booklets of dungeon maps on the faces of a six-sider.
Joe Wetzel, the creator of the
Hexographer and
Dungeonographer dungeon software programs, was inspired to start this project when other gamers have been using his programs and posted their geomorphs on the web.
Yon can have a trial run with the free version of the
Hexographer and the
Dungeonographer.
Each
DungeonMorph Dice comes in a set of 5 dices, each with a unique room design on every face (for a total of 30 designs) that is drawn to a certain theme. The first set would be centered on generic layouts such as temples, dining halls and barracks, while the second set would be have a cavernous theme.
The
DungeonMorph Dice Kickstarter Project is now planning to create a third set of dice and are looking for pledges with various perks to those who fund the project.
